How to get started +
In-person attendance is required for all driver options to complete the right-to-work check and onboarding. Attendance is strictly by appointment.

What you’ll need +
- A Glasgow or South Lanarkshire (Rutherglen & Cambuslang) driver licence
- Valid UK driving licence
- Right to work in the UK
- Your own suitable licensed vehicle or a company-car rental application
Payments and support +
One fixed weekly charge. We work on a fixed weekly Radio (Settle) basis at £140 per week. Unlike other operators, this is all you pay: we do not charge additional per-booking fees or extra charges beyond the flat weekly circuit fee.
We also offer a number of vehicles for rent for work on our system. Availability changes, so contact our recruitment team on WhatsApp for details of what we have available today.

The full application requires your issued private hire or taxi driver licence and supporting documents. If your licence application is still in progress, contact Fleet on WhatsApp 0141 260 6232 for guidance before starting this form.
Can I use my own vehicle?
Yes. Choose the own-vehicle route at the start of your application and provide your vehicle details and documents.
Can I rent a company car?
Choose the company-car route when applying to City Cars or Domino. Fleet must confirm an available car and complete the required checks and clearance before arranging your appointment. Applying does not reserve a vehicle.
Which driver documents will I upload?
The application asks for your profile headshot, DVLA driving licence, private hire or taxi badge and paper counterpart. Owner drivers upload the front of the DVLA licence; company-car applicants upload both sides. South Lanarkshire drivers must also upload the back of their badge.
What about my vehicle documents?
Owner drivers provide their vehicle details, private hire or taxi vehicle licence, MOT or Certificate of Compliance and hire-and-reward insurance. Company-car applicants do not upload documents for a vehicle they have not been allocated.
Do I upload right-to-work documents?
No. Your right-to-work check is completed in person at your onboarding and document-check appointment. Follow your appointment instructions and bring the required evidence with you.
How long will my application take to review?
We will process your application within 48 business hours. If a document needs replacing or information is missing, the team will contact you. Submission does not mean your application has been approved.
When can I book onboarding?
The office must approve your other required documents, assign your driver callsign and complete account setup first. Owner drivers then receive a private booking email. For company-car drivers, Fleet must also confirm the car offer, signed declaration and administrator authorisation; the office arranges the appointment.
Can I start driving after submitting my application?
No. You must complete the office onboarding appointment, in-person right-to-work check and remaining platform and operational setup before the office confirms you can start.
Can I park at Govan Road?
NO PARKING IN THE GOVAN ROAD CAR PARK. This is a landlord restriction and applies to every appointment. You must acknowledge the parking instruction when booking.
What if I need help or my booking email does not arrive?
Check your junk folder, then contact Fleet on WhatsApp: 0141 260 6232. Include your name and application reference so the team can find your record.
